Drawing from her own harrowing experiences of trauma—ranging from molestation and rape to the trials of cancer, abandonment, and the heavy burden of religious trauma—Coach Shonda has transformed her adversities into a source of empowerment. Rather than allowing her past to dictate her identity, she has risen above the misunderstandings and dismissals of those around her, embarking on a courageous journey of healing through counseling, supported unwaveringly by her husband and therapist.
